Anyone who wants to aim for their loved ones’ hearts this Valentine’s Day can bring them to quaint and glamorous settings to fill their stomachs with multi-course dinners and sweet treats at local restaurants.

On Valentine’s Day, many Chandler restaurants are providing special menus and romance-themed foods in a variety of price ranges.

Here is a look at some of the hearty offerings at local eateries on Valentine’s Day:

 

Chase’s Diner, 2040 N. Alma School Road, will offer a “red hot” special from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Feb. 14. The red velvet pancakes short stack feature comes with three, fluffy, smooth red velvet pancakes covered with homemade cream cheese drizzle, paired with a cup of coffee or a small juice for $7.89. Cuisine & Wine Bistro, 4991 S. Alma School Road, Suite 101, will create a romantic atmosphere with a Valentine’s Day fixed menu on Feb. 14. To begin with, diners can select crab cake with a spicy aioli sauce or a creamy gorgonzola and walnut minute tart or fresh burrata seasoned with black truffle oil paired with spiced tomato jam.

As an entrée, guests have their choice of wild lobster and seafood gratin, accompanied by a spring mix salad; grilled eight-ounce filet mignon Black Angus, along with creamy green peppercorn sauce and a Duchesse potato or pan-seared wild halibut, Provençale-style, accompanied by French Pipperade.

For dessert, guests can select white and dark Belgian chocolate mousse; traditional crème brulee served with berries or a Valentine’s strawberry trio. The Valentine’s special menu costs $75 per person or to purchase the meal and a wine pairing is $115. The restaurant in Chandler will be open from 3 to 10 p.m. on Feb. 14 and reservations are required.

Cuisine & Wine Bistro also has a location at 1422 W. Warner Road in Gilbert.

Gila River Hotels & Casinos is going to give those who took a gamble on love a chance to see their commitment pay off with many different special menus.

Fullhouse Café at Lone Butte and Wild Horse Pass will offer a special, three-course menu for $24 per person. To start with, diners will receive a strawberry spinach salad, then the entrée will be shrimp linguini or slow-roasted, herb-crusted prime rib. For dessert, guests will receive tiramisu.

The Valentine’s Day menu is available from 5 to 10 p.m. Lone Butte is located at 1077 S. Kyrene Road and Wild Horse Pass is located at 5040 Wild Horse Pass Blvd.

Also, Lone Butte Bar & Grille at Lone Butte will help shoot Cupid’s arrow with a three-course menu from 5 to 10 p.m. for $26 per person. The special meal begins with a mixed green salad, then moves on to the petite filet mignon entrée with chili honey shrimp, roasted mixed vegetables, rice pilaf and a warm dinner roll. Diners can indulge in a chocolate crème brulee for dessert.

 

Shula’s Steak House at Wild Horse Pass is giving lovers the opportunity to bond over a three-course menu at $65 per person. For the first course diners may pick peekytoe crab, boniato aioli and early spring squash paired with buttermilk salsa verde or shaved beef carpaccio with radish, along with Treviso greens and horseradish.

During the next course, guests will be served halibut Oscar with Lyonnaise potatoes and spinach along with lemon basil nage. When that course is complete, an entrée of pastrami rubbed ribeye, port braised shallots and butternut squash puree as well as black garlic demi will be served.

For dessert, guests can select milk chocolate cremeux with citrus and olive oil rosemary cake and coffee ice cream or strawberry and white chocolate with basil gelee and champagne sorbet.

Diners can also purchase a three-course wine and champagne pairing for $30 per person. The three-course menu and special wine and champagne pairing will be available from 5 to 10 p.m. Feb. 10-17. Roy’s Chandler at 7151 W. Ray Road is planning a prix fixe menu with various options from 5 to 10 p.m. The prices vary depending on diners’ choice of entrée, but all entrees come with an appetizer, as well as a soup or salad and dessert.

Some of the entrees include The Surf & Turf & Surf with butter-roasted Maine lobster tail, filet mignon and jumbo lump crab cake for $89 and Misoyaki “Butterfish,” an Alaskan black cod, with baby bok choy and furikake rice, for $77.

Another entrée option is the grilled filet mignon (eight-ounces) with haricots verts, parmesan truffle steak fries and truffle onion misoyaki demi-glace for $84.

Diners can pick their choice of lobster bisque, miso soup, Caesar salad or a wedge salad for their side items.

To satisfy their sweet tooth, customers can pick a dark chocolate torte with raspberry coulis, whipped cream and berries; a kaffir lime tart with a graham cracker crust and fresh raspberries; or Roy’s red velvet cake with mascarpone cream cheese frosting.
